Retrofit Assessments
If you’re considering potentially looking to make changes to your property then a great place to start is a retrofit assessment.
An official PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment is the first step in the process of carrying out retrofit installation work, in order to understand what measures are required to improve the energy efficiency of your property. A retrofit assessment usually takes 1-2 hours to complete and has to be carried out by a fully qualified Retrofit Assessor, who will be able to assess the scope, risk level and action plan for your home.
The results of the assessment will include a comprehensive report with three key parts: An energy report that outlines the current energy use of the property (this is not the same as an Energy Performance Certificate needed for tenanted properties) A condition survey that looks at any issues that could affect future energy efficiency improvement measures An occupancy assessment to reflect any identified patterns of energy use for hot water, heating, etc.
