Underfloor Insulation
UFI (Underfloor Insulation) is a method for insulating properties with suspended ground floors. To fix this we would need to access the space under the property which is usually done by taking up some floor boards. We then install insulation to the underside of the floorboards and fix it in place by attaching it to the joists. This is perfect for properties that have large voids under the floors and is great way of stopping the cold air and droughts coming from the floor. This is all done whilst still allowing ventilation to take place which keeps the property breathing and in good health.
